Esther N. Valdez was born to the late Cayetano and Julie Navarrette, a truck driver and a homemaker, in Bakersfield, CA on January 13, 1947. Esther Valdez went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 21, 2023.

   Esther was blessed with a large and loving family. She married Maximilio Valdez in Manteca, CA. She was a loving mother to her children, she enjoyed baking, cooking, her western movies, attending church, and being around family.  Esther was a genuine loving and caring soul. She was always there to give advice, wisdom, and comfort. Always willing to give a warm embrace and leave you feeling empowered. She will be dearly missed by everyone.

   Survived by her husband, Maximilio Valdez; and their children Victor Navarrette, Lisa Sanchez “Miranda”, Maximilio Valdez Jr., Juan Valdez, and Veronica Valdez. Also by her 16 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and her siblings Eleanor Alvarez, Patricia  Navarrette, Annie Navarrette, Leonard Navarrette, Terri Denson Climes, George Navarrette, and Richard Navarrette. 

   She is preceded in death by her parents, Cayetano and Julie Navarrette; her siblings Johnny, Louie, Steven, Raymond, and Yolanda.

   Services will be held Thursday, March 9, 2023 at 10:00  a.m., Tabernacle of Praise- United Pentecostal, 10623 CA-120, Manteca, CA 95336
