Beloved wife, mother, and grand-mother, Dorothy Olson, died peacefully in her home on April 18, surrounded by family, after a brief illness.
She was 92. A registered nurse, she and her husband of 71 years, Tom, raised five children. They were residents of Manteca for 57 years. Together, they lived an active, fun-loving, and happy life. When Tom went on the road to sell his paintings, she was at his side as his business manager. She was generous in service to the community, to family, and to her many friends. She was known for her welcoming and cheerful ways.
She leaves behind her husband Tom, children, Glenda Burns (Gary), Janet Wild (Ted), Doreen Heath (David), Raymond (Marian), John (Joan), four grand- children, and one great-granddaughter.
