Donna Marie Foehringer Wolfe passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and love. She was 85 years old.
Born on March 4, 1940, in Ottawa, Illinois, Donna was the cherished daughter of Marguerite and Otto Harry Foehringer and beloved older sister to David Foehringer. Raised in the Catholic faith, she carried her devotion to God throughout her life with grace and compassion.
Donna married Everett Glenn Wolfe, and together they built a loving family, raising three children; Glenda, Brenda, and Todd. The family eventually made their home in California, where Donna remained closely connected to her extended family and church community.
A longtime member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Manteca, Donna was deeply involved in parish life and cherished the friendships she formed there. She worked for many years as a para-professional at Sequoia Elementary, forming bonds with students that often endured well beyond the classroom.
Donna will be remembered for her warmth, her impeccable sense of style, and her ability to make everyone feel loved. She never met a stranger. Whether hosting gatherings or enjoying quiet card games in the garage, she brought joy to those around her. Donna was also well known for being the Sacramento Kings #1 fan. She traveled often with her husband Glenn, who lovingly spoiled her throughout their life together. Her legacy lives on through the values she instilled—faith, kindness, and grace, and the deep love she gave so freely to her family.
Donna is preceded in death by her husband Glenn Wolfe; her parents, Marguerite and Otto Harry Foehringer; and her brother David Foehringer.
She is survived by her children: Glenda Wolfe Herrera, Brenda Wolfe Greenlee, and Todd Wolfe; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many beloved nieces, nephews, in-laws and extended family members. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
