Donny was preceded in death by his brother Ronald Fletcher, mother Ruby Pooley, and father James Pooley.
He is survived by his brother, Jim Pooley of Colorado, sister Bonnie Pooley Farmer of Manteca, children, Heather Fletcher, Amanda Petra and Steve Scott, grandchildren Felix, Macey, Kenzie, Kara, Oscar Jr, Kaitlen, Kaidence and Deagen. He also leaves behind his very special “bonus family,” mom Bonnie Hiatt and brother Patrick McCoy.
Donny graduated from Delta College with an AA degree in Drug and Alcohol counseling. He was employed by The Lakes Treatment Center in Copperopolis and Hope Family Shelter in Manteca. Donny embraced God as his savior and used that love and belief to help so many people turn their lives around.
Donny was surrounded by loving family and friends in his last days and passed peacefully on February 13, 2019.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 23, at 10 a.m. at Sequoia Heights Baptist Church, 1050 Union Road, Manteca, CA.
