Deborah Ruth Dittman, born April 15, 1932 in Sacramento California, passed away peacefully with family at home on July 30, 2024 at the age of 92. 

   After living in Merced, San Francisco, Turlock and several other valley towns she moved to her favorite place in the world, Tracy, California, in 1963 where she lived out her exciting life.  Debbie loved to dance and travel. She went on countless cruises around the world with her West Coast Swing dance club and family. Debbie was also known by name at many Tracy restaurants, as she loved fine dining.  Debbie belonged to several organizations including: Tracy Woman’s club, Tracy Senior Center, Tracy Inner Wheel and Friends of the Military.

   Debbie was a trailblazer as being one of the first woman Real Estate Brokers in the 1970s. Her 30 year career included being President of the Tracy Board of Realtors twice and President of the

Northern California CRS (Certified Residential Specialists), the highest credential for Residential Real Estate Agents. She was well known and respected by her peers and colleagues.

   Debbie is survived by her children Nancy Howard (Philip) Sacramento, John Cardoza (Donna) Turlock, Greg Cardoza Fortuna, and Janice Boswell (Rick) Manteca, nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Debbie was preceded in death by her son Harry Cardoza, and husbands Ed Dittman and Phil Vrieling.

   Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 South Central Avenue, Tracy is in care of funeral arrangements. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, August 19, 2024. She will be laid to rest at the Tracy Public Cemetery – Schulte Road.

   Chapel Services will be live streamed via her tribute page at frymemorialchapel.com for family and friends unable to attend. An online guest book is also available for condolences and special messages to the family.
