Dean Stoker, born on September 21, 1937, passed away on February 12, 2025, in Manteca, California, where he had been a cherished resident for more than 71 years.

   Dean is survived by his beloved wife, Carole, whom he married in 1958. He was a devoted father to his children, Mike Stoker (Margaret) and Gary Stoker, and a proud grandfather to: Molly, Mitchell, Mary Courtney, and Kayla. He also leaves behind three great-grandchildren, Lacey, Scarlet, and Lillyann, who brought immense joy to his life.

   A graduate of Manteca High School, Dean dedicated over 50 years to owning and operating NAPA Auto Parts in Manteca, where he was known for his integrity and commitment to customer service. His passion extended beyond business; he had an extensive collection of model trains, which he meticulously built. Dean also enjoyed woodworking, showcasing his creativity and craftsmanship.  As a past member of the Kiwanis, Dean received the prestigious Lifetime Membership Award for his outstanding service to the community. He also served as a volunteer fireman, exemplifying his dedication to helping others.

   Dean was known for his down-to-earth personality and straightforward nature. He was never one to shy away from speaking his mind, earning the respect and admiration of those around him. Dean will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and the community he served with such passion and dedication.

   P.L. Fry and Son is honored to be serving the Stoker family. A memorial will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at P.L. Fry and Son Chapel, 290 N. Union Rd., Manteca, Ca.
