Danny Aiello, age 83, entered into rest on February 12, 2024 in Manteca. He was born on May 22, 1940 in Pacific Grove but made his home in Manteca for the last 58 years.

Danny’s life was centered around his family and friends. Danny will be greatly missed by Lorelei, his wife of 63 years; daughters Danette Powell (Mike) and Debbie Vanni (Greg); four grandchildren Jamie Steele, Michael Steele (Coleen), Nicole Thomas (Jason) and Stephanie Piccirilli (Michael) and David Powell; eight great-grandchildren Lea and Landon Steele, Danniella Steele, Katelynn Miculinich, Cameryn and Ellie Thomas and Max and Luca Piccirilli, one remaining sister, Virginia Sheriff. He is predeceased by sisters Mary Dempsey, Peggy Strouse and Jennie Magretto, brothers, Frank and Albert and parents Nino and Lenarda Aiello.

Danny looked forward to family gatherings, annual reunions, casino trips and his weekly poker games. Danny could usually be found near a TV watching sports, especially his favorite, college football.

He will be laid to rest at Good Shepherd Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please donate to Boys and Girls Club of America in memory of Danny Aiello.
