Clifford Earl Jorgensen was taken home to be with the Lord on February 3, 2023 at the age of 70. 

   Cliff was born on July 22, 1952 in Modesto, California to parents, Frank and Miriam (Bibens) Jorgensen. Cliff attended Ripon Grammar School and graduated from Ripon High School, class of 1970. He was All Conference offensive center 1967, 1968 and 1969. After graduating, Cliff enlisted in the US N vy. He proudly served our country from 1971 to 1973, in the Vietnam War.

After being discharged from the military, Cliff worked for a number of years for Gallo Winery and then for Allstate Insurance as an agent for over 35 years. After Allstate he became a Relator at PMZ where he was a member of CVAR, LAR and NINJA. When he wasn’t working, Cliff spent time giving back to his community. He was involved in

Manteca Morning Rotary, the Ripon American Legion Post 190, VFW Post 1051, Escalon Sportsman’s Club and the Ripon Historical Society. He was a member of Ripon Grace Church.

   Cliff’s hobbies include fishing, camping, traveling and taking motorcycle trips near and far with his friends. Cliff will be remembered for his generosity, kind smile and the ability to make friends wherever he went. He was a devoted husband, loving father and loyal friend of many who will be missed beyond measure.

   Cliff leaves behind his wife of 44 years, Connie Jorgensen, his children, Mike Corsaut (Teresa), Shelli Mack and Donald Cool along with 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Cliff also leaves behind his parents and his siblings, Margaret Sharp, Carol Deathridge and Eric Jorgensen along with a multitude of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

   Deegan Funeral Chapel is honored to serve the Jorgensen family. A visitation is scheduled for Thursday, February 16, from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m. at Deegan Ripon Memorial Chapel, 111 S Palm Ave, Ripon. A graveside service with military honors is scheduled for Friday, February 17, at 10 a.m. at Ripon Cemetery, 320 N. Stockton Ave. in Ripon followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. at Big Valley Grace Community Church, 4040 Tully Road in Modestio.  Donations in Cliff's memory may be made to a charity of choice.
