Cindy Anderson, born April 9, 1950, passed from this life at her home in Manteca after a 22 year

battle with breast cancer on October 21, 2012. She was born in Stockton, CA the daughter of Doella and Andrew Moore. She graduated from Manteca High in 1968.

Cindy dedicated her professional life in the title insurance industry. She worked as an escrow officer for 35 years, spending most of that time in the San Joaquin valley. She began her career with Ticor Title, followed by First American Title and Alliance Title. From 2004 to 2009 she moved to the Portola- Graeagle area in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, and worked with Cal-Sierra Title and Chicago Title. She served as a mentor to a new generation of escrow officers, and was a long time industry leader in her field.

Upon Cindy’s return to Manteca, CA in 2009, she had the opportunity to spend the balance of her life being an active mother and grandmother. She loved watching her granddaughter’s sporting events, spending time with her grandson, and making sure her sons and grandchildren would come together and share a meal. She was also very active in the Del Webb community, and loved playing cards and meeting new friends.

Cindy’s focus centered

around family, friends, church, football pools, and the Sacramento Kings. She had a zest for life and a true compassion for her fellow man that created many lifelong friendships. Thank you to all of her friends who were part of her full life.

Cindy is survived by three sons, Mathew Vezaldenos (Aracely), Scott Anderson, and Brett Anderson, three granddaughters Victoria, Olivia, and Julia Vezaldenos, grandson Drew Anderson and brothers Michael Moore and Patrick Moore.

A visitation is scheduled for Monday, October 29th 6:00p.m to 7:30p.m. at the ParkView Cemetery, 3661 E. French Camp Rd., Manteca, CA. A graveside memorial service is scheduled for Tuesday, October 30th at 10:00a.m. at the ParkView Cemetery, followed by a celebration of her life at the Del Webb clubhouse, 2401 Morningbrook Ln. in Manteca. Remembrances may be made to the American Cancer Society in Cindy’s name at 207 E. Alpine Ave., Stockton, CA 95204.

Jose Avina, born on August 15, 1944, passed away on December 25, 2024. A cherished resident of Lathrop for over 48 years, he was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Elda. Jose is survived by his two children, Adriana Dias (John) and Jose Armando Avina (Jenny), and his grandchildren: Alex, Regina, Lucas, Suzette, Austin, Jace. He also leaves behind his siblings: Luis Avina, Alejandro Avina, Carlos Avina, Rose Hernandez, and Jaime Avina.
