Cindra Link Aquaro was born on August 28, 1956 in San Luis Obispo, California. She passed away on September 13, 2021 in Manteca, California.
She leaves behind her husband of 42 years, Marty Aquaro and her daughter, Messina Blakely. Cindra was blessed with five grandchildren, Cynthia Crowl, Erica Rittiman, Joseph Carrillo, Joshua Carrillo and Ciara Ratcliff and five great- grandchildren Naya, Tekoa, Quinn, Wren and Layla.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Helen Link. She is also survived by her father, John Link, brother John Link, Jr. and in-laws Ellen, Louise, Dona and Ralph Aquaro.
Cindra had a long career with the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation Deuel Vocational Institution before retirement. In their free time, Cindra and Marty loved to attend baseball games at the “stick” along with Marty’s golf tournaments and classic car shows throughout the State. They also enjoyed making several trips to Hawaii and South Carolina. Cindra was an award-winning seamstress, and perfected making beautiful pieces of clothing. She was also active in the 4H Club when she was younger and won many ribbons/championships in animal husbandry. She was also an excellent cook and enjoyed gardening and crafting.
Cindra was a humble and kind woman. She never boasted about herself and was extremely generous with her time. She was always willing to help anybody in need. Kind, friendly and outgoing, Cindra was a joy to be around and her loss will be deeply felt by her family and friends.
