Carole J. Fort passed away at the age of 80, in her home on September 12, 2022 after a short battle with Cancer. She was born in Watsonville, CA on December 25, 1941.  A true Christmas Carole.

   She was married in 1959 to Lester A. Fort and had three kids. After briefly living in Bakersfield, they moved back to Watsonville. Les’ promotion the family to Union, City, CA in 1972.  After retirement the two settled in their final home in Manteca, CA in 1996.

   Carole was preceded in death by her parents, John and Irene Bettencourt and her husband Lester A. Fort. She is survived by her brother, Ken (Kathy) Bettencourt of Manteca, her children Ron Fort of Manteca, Mark Fort (JaNell) of Tracy, Cathy Fort-Currigan (Conan) of Manteca, and her treasured Grandchildren Kristy Fort, Ashley Fort, Alison Fort, Kaylah Fort, Wesley Currigan, and Zachary Currigan.  Also, her brother-in-law’s, sister-in-law’s, cousins and many nieces and nephews who she loved dearly.

   Carole was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be missed immensely by all that knew and loved her.

   Services for Carole will be at Park View Funeral home on October 7th at 10 a.m.
