Carol is survived by her devoted husband of 49 years, Frank Rillamas, and their cherished children, Alea Marain (Brian) and Anthony Rillamas (Tanyashane). She was a proud grand mother to Talan Kai, Taya Leanne, Tylie Sage, and Caleb, who were the light of her life. Carol is also survived by her siblings, Denny Asuncion Jr., Diana Silva, Cheryl Page, and David  Asuncion. She is preceded in death by her siblings, Douglas  Asuncion, and Marsha Overholtzer, and her loving parents, Denny Asuncion Sr. and Mary Jane Lepley.

Alongside her sisters Carol was a successful businesswoman, where she co-owned and operated the Nail Boutique for many years in Manteca. Carol also worked at Merle Norman but cemented her legacy in Manteca when she opened  Angles Beauty Care in 1999. Throughout her career as a nail technician, Carol built lasting friendships with many clients who became like family. Her commitment to her work and her community was evident in the relationships she nurtured and the joy she brought to those around her.

After retirement in March of 2022, Carol enjoyed spending more time with her grandchildren and husband. She loved embarking on road trips, jet-skiing and memorable adventures. An avid fan of Korean dramas, Carol found joy in the stories and characters that captured her heart with suspense.  She was a social butterfly, cherished by many for her warm and friendly nature. Carol loved staying in touch with her childhood friends often hosting at her home. She also loved attending  class reunions where she enjoyed reminiscing about the good old days. Her hobbies included photography, family ancestry, crocheting and ceramics, through which she expressed her creativity and love for crafting.  Carol's legacy is one of love, friendship, and community spirit.
