Carol (Licalsi) Clark, 84, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2020, at English Oaks Nursing & Rehab Center in Modesto under Hospice care.
Born April 27, 1935 in Cheyenne, Wyoming. She was raised in California and married the love of her life, Ray Lee Clark, in San Jose, CA. After Ray retired, they moved to the Camelia Gardens neighborhood in Manteca, CA. She later moved into assisted living at Prestige Senior Living in Manteca.
Carol graduated from Hayward High School. She had worked part-time in a school cafeteria and in Jury Assembly for Santa Clara County Municipal Court. Carol and Ray were very active. Together they enjoyed golf, traveling the world, spending time with their much loved family and friends, and hosting many meals and parties. Carol was an avid reader and a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church.
Carol is survived by daughter, Karen Glancy of Wisconsin, grandchildren, Heather (Jacob) Foutz, Brian (Sarah) Glancy, Tyler (Mitzi) Grannis, Lisa (Brandon) Fonk, nine great-grand children, her sister June Clark, nephews, Micheal (Naomi) Licalsi, John (Pooi Yin) Licalsi, Don (Pat) Lysell, Phyllis (Gerald) Ritter, and great-niece Sophia Licalsi.
Preceding her in death were husband Ray Clark, daughter Linda, along with brothers Lou and Jack, and sisters Cecelia and Janette.
She will be buried next to her beloved husband at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Santa Nella, California.
