Carol was born June 30, 1944, in San Jose, CA to Jean and Ernie Lazetera, Sr.
She entered into rest on June 21, 2019, in Stockton, CA. She was a resident of Manteca.
She leaves behind sisters, Rosemary Lazetera, Gloria Overn (Eric), brother Ernie Lazetera Jr. (Peggy Tuite) and step sister to Deborah and Linda.
Carol was “KK” to several nieces and nephews, stepdaughter Patricia and several grandchildren.
She also leaves behind her two best friends, Marty Devore Mayer and Bobbie Reagan, as well as her beloved dogs, Rags and Sadie.
She was a member of the United Lutheran Church, Manteca Sharps, and the Manteca Senior Center. She was also a member of the Moose Club, Chapter 643, San Jose, and was a longtime member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Santa Clara, CA.
A memorial service will be held at United Lutheran, July 13, at 11:00 a.m., 649 Northgate Dr., Manteca, and at Our Savior’s Lutheran, July 20, at 11:30 a.m., 1224 N. Winchester Blvd., Santa Clara.
In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to the Diabetes Society or to either of the churches.
