Brett Carl Clemensen, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away suddenly on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at the age of 61. Born on June 11, 1963, to the late Vahl and Carol Clemensen,
Brett grew up in Manteca, California. A proud graduate of East Union High School, Class of 1981, Brett furthered his education by earning a BA degree in business. His career in sales eventually led him to become a dedicated claims manager, a role he excelled in for over 18 years.
Brett was a true outdoorsman who embraced life with an adventurous spirit. He loved being by the water, river, pools or oceans as well as camping, snow skiing, and riding dirt bikes. His easygoing nature, sharp wit, and infectious laughter made him the life of every gathering. Brett never met a stranger—he had an extraordinary gift for making everyone feel like a lifelong friend.
Family was the cornerstone of Brett’s life. He leaves behind his loving wife of 13 years, Linda Clemensen; his sons, Jason Clemensen (Pamela) of Kansas and Ryan Clemensen (Diana) of Marysville; and his cherished stepsons, Aaron and James Hughes. Brett was the proud and devoted grandfather of six grandchildren: Cameron Peak, Landon Clemensen, Easton Clemensen, Emerson Clemensen, and Shaina Clemensen. His siblings, Dana and Wayne Clemensen, also survive him, along with countless friends who will miss his warmth and generosity. Brett adored his grandchildren, who were the light of his life. He enjoyed teaching them the creativity in cooking. Brett lived a life full of love, adventure, and kindness. His memory will be forever etched in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at
