Betty Jane Morelli, 94, entered into eternal life on December 13, 2021 in Manteca, CA. She was born the youngest of seven children on October 7, 1927 in Oakland, CA to Franklin Palmer and Marguerite Clary.
She is preceded in death by her two parents, her six siblings, her husband and soulmate in life James Morelli, daughters, Julie Vermillion, Cynthia Ironside and Marilyn Campi, son Ronald Morelli, and son-in-law Darrell Courtney.
She is survived by her loving family, daughters, Linda Basile and Susan Courtney, grandchildren, Shanyn, Honey, Mandy, Lindsay, Jordan, Jeremy, Jessica, Michael, Tara, Candace, Jennifer, Arielle, 21 great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Betty’s life was led by her deep faith in God. The matriarch of her family, she was always there to lend a listening ear and was beloved for her unwavering support, wisdom, and guidance. She will forever be remembered for the love she showed others and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

6 p.m. at P.L. Fry & Son Chapel, 290 N. Union Rd., Manteca, CA. A mass will be held on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at 11 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, 525 E. North St., Manteca, CA. She will be laid to rest at a later date.
