She was a life long resident of Manteca, born near Caruthers, CA, to parents Joseph and Ann Crampton. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her loving husband, Frank Garcia Jr. She is survived by her sister, Cinna Costa of Valley Springs, daughters, Patti Lindemann of Lodi, CA, and Debbie (Rich) Haas of Manteca, grandson, Steven (Jamie) Festa, and great-granddaughter, Alana of Ceres, CA, godson, Dennis (Pam) Garcia of Stockton, and many nieces and nephews.
Most people will remember Betty from her many years as a crossing guard for Lincoln Elementary School in Manteca. She was a life long member of YLI at St. Anthony’s Church. Volunteering for St. Anthony’s bingo, until it was discontinued, was a joy in her life.
The family would like to thank Hospice of San Joaquin and Lifeguard Medical along with her neighbors, for the loving care they helped provide in her last days.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of San Joaquin or the charity of your choice. Park View Cemetery & Funeral Home will be supplying an online memorial page and guest book for the public, (http://www.parkviewmortuary.com/).
services will be private per her request.
