Barbara Ann “Bobby” Curry, 81, passed away Oct, 27, 2020 in French Camp, Calif. Barbara was born to James P. and Faye Basham on Oct. 26, 1939 in the state of Washington; moved to Stockton in 1944 where she attended school, graduating from Stockton College High School in 1957. She married John A. Curry on Aug. 1, 1958. They had one son, Christopher.
Bobby was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church for 50 years. She was a TOPS Club and Red Hats Society member and a cancer survivor.
She is survived by her sister, Elaine Adams and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband and son, her parents, brother James A. Basham, sister Jean Stephens and nephews, Steven, David and Douglas Adams.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 12 at Park View Cemetery, 3661 E. French Camp Road, Manteca. Viewing will be on Nov. 11 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donate at St. Jude’s, or the SPCA or the American Cancer Society.
