Richard Andre Gouaux passed away on January 2, 2025, at the age of 86. Andre was born to Victor and Pearl Gouaux on March 10, 1938 in Lake Charles, Louisiana.

Andre will be remembered for his love of singing and music, his warmth, and his energetic spirit.

Andre is survived by his three children, Matthew Gouaux, Susan (Samuel) LaPlaca, and Benjamin (Katerina) Gouaux. He was also loved dearly by Mary Miller Dimoree, his companion of 14 years; her children Susan Nylen, Ramona Singer, Lynn Gutierrez, and Raymond D. Miller, and their children and grandchildren, for whom he cared for deeply.

The memorial service for Andre will be held at St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Manteca, California, on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 10:00 am, with a reception to follow. A private ceremony will be held by family at Park View Cemetery & Funeral Home.
