Names of three school campuses were left of the text for the $159 million Manteca Unified School District bond on the Nov. 4 ballot.
Manteca High, Nile Garden School, and George McParland School — the three school sites omitted in the bond text that appeared on Page A5 of Tuesday’s Bulletin — are eligible for funding of projects from the bond proceeds as well as other schools listed should voters approve the measure.
Passage would increase property taxes by $60 per $100,000 of assessed valuation. A home assessed at $300,000 by the county assessor would have a $180 a year tax bill to cover the bond repayment.
