Miss Sparkles Delight will entertain children of all ages at the Manteca Branch Library on Wednesday, Feb. 11, at 4 p.m.  In her performance, you will find puppets and stuffed animals,  magic, and  balloon creations.  Sparkles has an energetic, fast-paced, mesmerizing show that will keep everyone entertained for well over an hour.

Continue investing in the love for reading by checking out any of our children’s books with a clown theme that can be used for storytimes at home.

What better way to celebrate Valentine’s “stuffed friend” with you for a fun-filled Valentine’s Day tea. We’ll learn more about tea-time manners, the story of Valentine’s Day and why our Teddy bears are so special! The program will include refreshments and a craft. Join in the fun on Thursday, Feb. 12, at 3:30 p.m. Seating is limited, so sign up in advance at the library. Younger children should be accompanied by a parent/caregiver. You’ll want to check out the wide variety of materials the library has for you and your children on the very topics included in this program. Book about manners, storybooks featuring Teddy bears and plenty of cook books with tea-time treats to make at home!
