Stephanie Hobbs is hoping to sell more of the red signature bricks to benefit the Ripon High School by the Friday deadline.  More bricks were sold during the past week at $100 each bringing the total collected to $25,000.

President of the Ripon Community Athletic Foundation Hobbs has spearheaded the renovation of the school stadium and most recently brought attention to the need to support a state-of-the-art track.

Hobbs noted that she had been overwhelmed with the community response for the track renovation toward her target of securing donations for 300 bricks that will include three lines of type with some 18 characters per line.  She is planning to have the bricks installed in the walkway from the ticket booth to the home stands by the first football game of the season.

Hobbs’ husband Vince and sons, Timothy, 16, and Luke, 21, have been her supporters throughout the Ripon High stadium effort working tirelessly for the project.

Those wishing to be included in the brick walkway with names of a player, a family or just an individual before the deadline Friday evening are urged to go online to www.rcafsite.com. Orders may be mailed or taken into the Ripon Chamber of Commerce office.

Checks should be payable to the Ripon Community Athletic Foundation.  The Ripon Chamber of Commerce also has order forms.
