Prestige partnering to raise funds for new VFW home

Prestige Assisted Living at Manteca has partnered with Manteca Care and Rehabilitation Center, St Jude Care Center and Manteca Senior Center to participate in events that will benefit the Veterans of  Foreign Wars Jimmie Connors  Post 6311.

Prestige and the Manteca community are asking for monetary donations so that the VFW Post 6311 is able to purchase necessary items for their new home, to be finished early 2015 on city-owned property on Moffat Boulevard. The new VFW Post 6311 will act as a hub for the membership; a place where they can seek support and services from the Department of Veterans Affairs, as well as camaraderie from other members.

You can make your donation payable to Prestige Senior Living.

If you would like to be part of the benefit or need more information, contact Alice Chidester, Community Outreach Director at Prestige Senior Living, 209.624.6988.

Prestige Assisted Living at Manteca and their partners will be hosting a Holiday Pie Sale through Nov. 20  with pies being delivered or picked up Nov, 25-26.   Prestige will be presenting the proceeds and any donations to the VFW Post 6311.
