LODI — Sylvia Sun Minnick, research historian and author of three books on Chinese heritage in Stockton and her recently published memoirs, will speak Monday, Oct. 28, at the San Joaquin County Historical Society’s general membership meeting and potluck dinner

The gathering begins at 6 p.m. with a potluck dinner in the Micke Memorial Building in Micke Grove Park south of Lodi. Those attending are asked to bring a dish of food to share and their own table service. Please call the museum at 331-2055 or 953-3460 if you plan to attend so there will be adequate seating arranged.
