Manteca, Stockton offer restaurant week specials

Hopefully eating at one of many local restaurants participating in Manteca Restaurant Week! From comfort food at Dickey’s Barbecue Pit (1446 Hulsey Way) to exotic sushi at Yukimi (1242 W. Lathrop Road), 10 restaurants are participating in this tasty event ready to please even the pickiest eaters. Several businesses are offering automatic 15% discount of your bill; others like Pete’s Restaurant & Brewhouse (881 Lifestyle Street) or The Spot (245 W. Yosemite Avenue) have specials and coupons that you can choose from. Manteca Restaurant Week is held through Saturday, Jan. 17, so visit your favorite restaurant or try something new, and Instagram your plate using #TasteofManteca.

On the same yummy note, Stockton Restaurant Week is already in its sixth year. The concept is a little different than in Manteca. Restaurants participating in this dining extravaganza are offering three-course dinners for a fixed price, usually costing $15, $20 and $25, and two- or three-course lunch specials offered for $10. You’ll get to check out restaurants like Bud’s Seafood Grille, French 25, newly open Midgley’s Public House, Seoul Soon Dubu Tofu House and more, all for the same price. We can’t really predict your future, but it seems like you will be eating out a lot this month…

Chibs Telford is coming to Sacramento!
