The Boys & Girls Clubs of Manteca and Lathrop is holding its annual Crab Feed Saturday, Jan. 18, from 5:30 p.m. to midnight.
There will be a No Host Happy Hour with dinner starting at 7 p.m. The event will be held at the MRPS Hall, 133 N. Grant St., Manteca. The Club will be serving all you can eat crab, baked potatoes, salad and rolls. The fun includes a live auction, raffle, dessert auction, music and dancing. The goal is to raise $25,000 for local youth who attend the Club.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Manteca and Lathrop is dedicated to serving the youth in our communities. The Club has over 1,400 members. During summer months the Club runs all day programs for children ages 6-18 and is a place where local youth come to feel safe. Education and leadership are the main focus, as well as providing the children with positive adult role models.
Donations for the event are also graciously accepted and appreciated for both the raffle and dessert auction. Tickets should be bought early since this event sells out every year. Tickets may be purchased for $45 at the Manteca Boys & Girls Club, 545 W. Alameda St. If you have any questions, contact Kimberly Baldovino at (209) 249-7323 or email at kbaldovino@bgmanteca.org.
