Happy Daze RV Dealership is among the City of Ripon Development Projects.
Construction continues for the building of just under 40,000 square feet featuring a 20-bay service department with a full Collision Center and an extensive parts department for any and all recreational needs.
DeGraff Development has been handling the project that broke ground in March. Happy Daze RV is scheduled to open in the fall.
This will be the fourth location for the family-owned business. Owner RJ Lemke noted that the Happy Daze RV first open in San Jose back in 1974 – the business later shifted over to Sacramento, expanding into Livermore and Gilroy with Ripon on the way.
Happy Daze RV will round out the area of Ripon Crossing shopping center near Jack Tone Road at Garrison Way, between Boat Country and Alpine Climbing Adventure Fitness.
The other under-construction projects in Ripon Crossing on the City of Ripon list include the Jack Tone Road / Canal Street gas station – convenience market, car wash and electric car charging stations – and the Burger King / Popeye’s Chicken drive-thru restaurants.
In addition, the proposed upscale liquor store – 7,498 square foot retail building – between Tractor Supply Co. and Popeye’s, will go before the Ripon Planning Commission at the July meeting.
Commissioners, in August, could look at the proposed Ride 209, a 25,554-square-foot fitness facility at 720 N. Jack Tone Rd. (behind the Jack Tone / Canal gas station).
Both Ride 209 and the liquor store were on the “Project in the Queue – awaiting either staff or Planning Commission Approval” list.
