Construction is nearing the home stretch on the faith-based Terraces at Bethany.
Executive Director Cindy Scheublein said Thursday that Quiring Construction Superintendent Greg Griffith recently indicated the 85 percent of the work is completed on three-story, 82 residential-unit complex at 816 W. Main St. and Vera Avenue.
She added the Quiring construction team and several subcontractors are working on the architectural finishes, including the floor, paint, and T-bar ceilings.
“Quiring is in the process of commissioning all facility equipment as the elevators, HVAC system, and kitchen, ensuring the equipment is fully functioning,” Scheublein said.
Next up are the hardscape work consisting of installing the paved sidewalk, patios, and carports.
In addition, The Terraces at Bethany will feature EV charging stations as well as a solar energy-power system.
Based on the current information, Scheublein said construction on The Terraces at Bethany could be completed by the end of June with plans to open by Aug. 1.
A grand opening event is in the planning phase, she noted.
The Terraces at Bethany, once completed, will consist of three studio apartments, 46 one-bedroom, and 33 two-bedroom apartments, ranging in size from 475 to 1,235 square feet.
Over 60 percent of the 82 apartments are already reserved.
Other amenities of The Terraces at Bethany will feature a lobby, formal dining room, café bistro, library, fitness / wellness center, media room, and multipurpose meeting & event hall rooms, to name a few.
Groundbreaking on the 2.73-acre property took place back in June 2023.
