Stella Brockman Elementary School kicked off the wave of eighth-grade promotion for Manteca Unified on Tuesday morning.
Wednesday will see 18 such events – mostly drive-thru, during this time of COVID-19 – throughout the day.
“We were able to do little more this year,” Principal Candice Espinola said of having a drive-thru ceremony for the second straight year.
