The Ripon Consolidated Fire District responded to semi-truck that caught fire on Friday.

The incident in the 1500 block of Jack Tone Road occurred at 11:14 a.m.

Local firefighters responded to an emergence call regarding a commercial vehicle fire. They arrived on scene to find a semi-truck with its cab fully engulfed in flames.

“Fire personnel immediately initiated suppression procedures to contain and extinguish the blaze,” said RCFD via social media.

No additional details were available.

The incident remains under investigation by fire officials in an effort to determine the cause and origin of the fire, RCFD added.
