Santa at Manteca museum open house Sunday
holiday

Santa Claus is coming to the Manteca Historical Museum.

That’s according to the special telegram just received from the head Elf at the North Pole, museum President Tommie Benavides said.

“It states: ‘Santa will make a special appearance at the museum at 600 W. Yosemite Ave,’” she added.

It’s part of the Christmas Open House scheduled Sunday, Dec. 3, from 1 to 4 p.m.

Santa will be available during that time to hear gift requests, pose for photo opportunities, and hand out small candy treats.

“Santa encourages all Manteca children to visit the museum,” Benavides noted. “Parents must accompany their children to see Santa – so no child gets placed on the Naughty list.”

The museum, in addition, is a fascinating learning center for those of all ages.

The local facility houses a vast array of artifacts, documents, and thousands of photographs from the past.
