The Ripon Unified school board will meet Monday in the Council Chambers, 259 N. Wilma Ave.

During the 7 p.m. open session, Superintendent Ziggy Robeson will honor those in the district who served their country as part of the Veterans Day recognition.

That military employees’ group includes Gary Dias, Larry Moreno, Daniel Pacheco, Mark Redding, David Schmith, Ken Tyhurst, Alisha Vasche, Shawn Vasche, and Mi Chong Walker.

In other agenda items:

·         Diana McManis, who is a kindergarten teacher at Park View Elementary School, will be recognized for recently being inducted to the local Delta Kappa Gamma, California, Epsilon Nu Chapter.

·         Ripon Elementary School’s tribal council will conduct a Veterans Day presentation.

·         Andy Strickland, who is the Director of Maintenance & Operations, will provide an update on the construction that’s taking place at Ripon High on the Career Technical Education Center facility.

·         Principal Victor Ramirez along with teachers and students at Park View Elementary School will do a presentation of the K-8 campus.
