Ripon Unified recognizes 34 employees for longevity milestones

The Ripon Unified school board – Kit Oase, student Trustee Isaiah Green, Vince Hobbs, board President Jason Winters, Superintendent Ziggy Robeson, Harpal Chandar, and board Vice President Caroline Hutto – recognized those who earned Years of Service Recognition at the May 12 meeting. Awarded were (shown in the photo): Celeste Morino, Raquel Babauta, Christen Sousa, Michelle Thompson, Adriana Lopez, Johnigail Umipeg, Stephanie Bylsma, Janelle Mulder, Laura Ochoa, and Andy Strickland.

The Ripon Unified school board recently recognized 34 employees for their milestone achievements.

They earned service awards for putting in 25, 20, 15, or 10 years – retiring Director of Student Services Lisa Mazza said the group of teachers and staff represented “70 years” of working at the district.

Leading the way at those who put in 25 years: Patty Goeppert, Tony Martin, Celeste Morino, Robyn Udavi, and Stephanie Williams

Twenty years of service awards went to: Raquel Babauta, Renae Gonzalez, Sam Green, Denise Mayer, Sara Perez, Christen Sousa, Michelle Thompson, and Marti Ulrich.

Thoe recognized for 15 years of service were: Kim Camara, Adriana Lopez, Peggy Neeley, Gina Taberna, Johnigail Umipeg, and Crystal Vieira.

Trustees honored the following who put in 10 years of service: Stephanie Bylsma, Alyssa Decena, Gary Dias, Denise Dotterer, Amy McPeak, Janelle Mulder, Maria Munoz, Laura Ochoa, Dan Ogden, Melanie Perez, Manon Roberts-Gowans, Shandi Ross, Allison Stingle, Andy Strickland, and Ines Wanta.
