Ripon Unified opened the 2024-2025 school year with 3,341 students.

That’s the first-month tally consisting mostly of the five elementary school sites and the comprehensive high school. Last year at this time, RUSD had 3,306 or 35 fewer students.

The reporting period was from Aug. 7 through Sept. 1, led by Ripon High with 1,039 students.

The District Enrollment report from Monday’s school board meeting had Ripona leading the elementary school sites with 470 students, followed by Park View and Weston – both had 456 students – with Ripon El. (451) and Colony Oak (438) rounding out the list.

In addition, Independent Study and Harvest High, the district’s alternative education site, began the new school year with 16 and 15 students, respectively.
