The Ripon Unified school board will meet today at 7 p.m. to pass the 2025-2026 proposed budget along with the Excess General Fund Reserves consisting of the Review of Reserves is in compliance with state education code.
The session will take place in the Ripon City Hall Council Chambers, 259 N. Wilma Ave.
A public hearing was held on the budget to be adopted for the subsequent year per Education Code 42127.
The budget was made available to the public on June 17. No comments on this item were made from those attending Monday’s public hearing.
The proposed budget – a blue print for revenues and expenditures – is a summary of the financial activity for RUSD, which was built on the best available information received to date.
In other agenda items:
· Trustees will hear a presentation on Summer School Showcase 2025.
· They’ll also receive a facilities update from Director of Facilities, Operations, and Safety Services Andy Strickland.
· The school board will look at the annual attendance and suspension overview.
