Ripon Unified announces hires, looks to add more

 The Ripon Unified School District was scheduled to hire one Student Services and Special Education Coordinator and one teacher for the 2025-2026 school year.

Monday’s monthly school board meeting had Special Ed coordinator Diana Crofts and teacher Paola Gomez among the new hires.

Trustees also looked to approve the employment of several after-school assistants and substitutes while accepting one retirement from Ripon High.

Amanda Ross, Tha Keo, Zoey Barragan, and Celeste Nunes were scheduled to join the Ripon Afterschool Program.

Among the subs on the list were Lisa Ardis (Instructional aide), Bertha Garcia (Instructional aide), Alissia Powell (Paraeducator), Michael Ruhland (teacher) and Jaynell Mora (teacher).
