The City of Ripon is seeking candidates for the Planning Commission.

The announcement was posted Tuesday for “citizens interested in planning, zoning and other related matters of the City” to serve as an alternate.

Interested applicants must reside within city limits and cannot otherwise be connected with the City of Ripon.

Forms can be picked up at Ripon City Hall, 259 N. Wilma Ave., during business hours, or can be printed online at www.cityofripon.org.

The Planning Commission usually convenes at 6 p.m. Monday following the Ripon City Council meeting (unless it’s a holiday, Commissioners will have a scheduled session on that next Monday) inside the Council Chambers.

The current Commissioners are George Saljian (chairman), David Collins, Gary Barton, Debra Van Essen, James West, and Mike Garcia (alternate).
