The City of Ripon’s Department of Planning and Economic Development recently received a project referral for road repairs on various streets near Jack Tone and River roads.

It is in the general area of Mistlin Sports Park.

The project description consists of:

*rehabilitation of asphalt on River Road from North River to Jack Tone.

*asphalt repair at the Colony – Jack Tone intersection

*installation of a new traffic signal at Santos – Jack Tone intersection.

Work would also consist of all cracks one inch or greater in width to be “routed and cleaned out to the full depth of the existing asphalt section or two inches, whichever is less, prior to the placement of any microsurface material.”

Comments / conditions of approval on this project must be received by the Planning Department no later than 5 p.m. Monday, Aug. 19.
