The Parallel Avenue Self-Storage facility could benefit an area south of Ripon just east of Highway 99.
City Council on Tuesday approved the Project Improvement Agreement between JKB Living, Inc. and the City of Ripon, calling for asphalt paving along with curbs, gutters and sidewalk, and the addition of two handicap ramps.
That’s just for starters.
The Parallel Avenue Self-Storage PIA also includes cape sealing, striping – a Class II bike path happens to be part of it – street lights and undergrounding of utility lines across the project frontage.
For elected leaders, no discussion was necessary.
Last July, the Ripon Planning Commission approved construction of the 225-unit self-storage facility along South Parallel Avenue.
The Ripon Parallel Self-Storage features a 48,950-square-foot facility on two parcels in an area zoned for Light Industrial.
