Ripon Mayor Leo Zuber endorses Rickman in supervisor re-election

Ripon Mayor Leo Zuber is endorsing County Supervisor Robert Rickman, who is running for reelection in the Fifth Supervisorial District.

Prior to serving on the Council, Zuber was a former Superintendent of Ripon Unified School District and has a long-standing history of serving the Ripon community.

Zuber is the latest to add his name to a growing list of local leaders and organizations endorsing Rickman’s reelection campaign.

Others include the San Joaquin County Deputy Sheriffs Association, the Local 3355 Tracy Firefighters Association, Congressman John Duarte, San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors, State Assemblymember Carlos Villapudua, Lathrop City Councilmember Jennifer Torres-O'Callaghan, Escalon Mayor Dave Bellinger, San Joaquin County Superintendent of Schools Troy Brown, Lodi Mayor Lisa Craig, and Tracy Mayor Pro Tempore Eleassia Davis.

Rickman is a third-generation San Joaquin County resident.

He graduated from Tracy High School and attended San Joaquin Delta College and Sacramento State University, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree. Rickman also earned a Juris Doctor degree from Humphrey's School of Law. He was first elected to the Tracy City Council in 2010, then elected as Tracy's Mayor in 2016, and re-elected in 2018.

Rickman is married with two adult daughters
