The City of Ripon Parks & Recreation Department announced the return of the free summer movies at Mistlin Sports Park, 1201 W. River Road.

Recreation Director Kye Stevens announced at a recent City Council meeting that Disney’s Jungle Cruise will be shown on Friday, July 12.

Blankets, low chairs, and outside food are allowed at the free movie in Mistlin Sports Park outside amphitheater. Alcohol and smoking are prohibited.

Lathrop: Movies in the Park

The City of Lathrop’s Movies in the Park series continues tonight.

The City of Lathrop notes that all movies are free and will begin at dusk at the Generation Center, 450 Spartan Way.

The summer schedule includes:

·         June 21 – Migration, an animated adventure comedy produced by Universal Pictures and Illumination.

·         June 28 – Wonka, a 2023 comedy based on a character from Roald Dahl’s novel ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.’

·         Aug. 2 – Disney’s Wish, a 2023 animated musical fantasy film.
