The Ripon City Council will look at inking the Professional Services Agreement Tuesday with SKW & Associates for architectural review services for the Meadowood subdivision project.

This is the project calling for 88 new homes to be situated on lot sizes between 3,200 and 4,200 square feet, creating a medium-density neighborhood as part of the North Pointe Specific Plan.

“Contract for services will be on a time and materials basis for the architectural review services with a not to exceed amount of $5,000 (funding source: Lennar Homes of California, LLC reimbursement account),” said the staff report for the 6 p.m. monthly session in the Council Chambers, 259 N. Wilma Ave.

Construction kicked off not too long ago on the Meadowood residential development project.

Based on the Meadowood Development Agreement approved and executed in 2018, all proposed homes within the development “shall be submitted to the City of Ripon for architectural review.”

Staff would review all floorplans and elevations while enlisting the help of an architectural consultant to help with the review process.

“This is to ensure all conditions of the development agreements and NPSP are met, but also to ensure that the homes to be built are quality homes that complement our community,” the staff report noted.

Located east of Highway 99 around the Mistlin Sports Park area, the NPSP focus is to provide a vision and guidance for the future development of a 310-acre area between River Road, Jack Tone Road, Fulton Avenue and the freeway.
