Ripon High portables plus CTE building move forward
Ripon Schools

The Ripon Unified School District has been moving forwards with plans on the Career Technical Education building and portable units at the high school.

At Monday’s Ripon Unified school board meeting, Andy Strickland, who is the Director of Operations & Maintenance, will provide an update on this two-story CTE structure at Ripon High.

At the 7 p.m. monthly session inside Ripon City Hall’s Council Chamber – 259 N. Wilma Ave. – he’s scheduled to report on the recent back check appointment with the Division of State Architect.

Strickland is on tap to talk about the site work consisting of the three-classroom building and the parking lot on the north end of RHS located just outside the utility field.

The CTE building plans were submitted early last month – the estimated review time being about 10 weeks.

All plans along with Increment 1 – that’s the structural plan check still in review – have been released to CT Brayton & Sons.

Escalon-based CT Brayton has released the plans to sub-contractors for bids.

Strickland, in addition, will provide a tentative completion date for the portables and parking lot projects at RHS.
