The Ripon Consolidated Fire District is seeking to fill a board vacancy.

Fire officials are now accepting letters of interest to fill that one spot on the board of directors.

The term of the seat will be from May 8, 2025 to Dec. 30, 2027.

Letters of interest can be turned in now until Wednesday, April 9, by 5 p.m., and can be addressed to Kathy Sikma, Clerk of the RCFD board.

Letters of interest can also be mailed to Ripon Fire Station 1, 142 S. Stockton Ave. or dropped off in person.

RCFD covers an area of about 55 square miles. Of that, only 3.5 square miles are within the Ripon city limits.
