The Ripon Farmers Market is winding down at the end of this month.
Since May, the Thursday night event – from 5 to 8 o’clock – in the parking lot of Garden Joy, 929 W. Main St., has been a gathering spot for the community as well as visitors.
The farmers market finale will be Sept. 28.
This week will feature live music by @savvyraine.
Gwyn’s Art Studio will provide the painting demonstration.
Garden Joy is a local non-profit organization that provides opportunities for both children and adults to learn the art of gardening along with helping to give back to the community.
Over the years, Garden Joy has donated over 5,000 pounds of produce to those in need.
The Ripon Farmers Market continues to be that one-stop shop featuring fresh and local produce along with items such as cheese, breads, cookies, pies, and other desserts.
Other vendor booths include soaps, house plants, and flowers, to name a few.
Food trucks, in addition, will be on hand, offering more of a variety of take-out dishes.
