The Ripon Farmers Market is back.
Opening night is this Thursday at Garden Joy, 929 W. Main St., beginning at 5 o’clock.
The evening event will be held every Thursday from May through September, and is a fundraiser for Garden Joy, a non-profit community garden. All of the vendor fees go towards supporting the garden.
Garden Joy provides opportunities for children as well as adults to learn about the art of gardening not to mention giving back to the community.
The Ripon Farmers Market is scheduled from 5 to 8 p.m. – click on to www.gardenjoy.com/ripon-farmers-market for the digital parking map.
Featured on the opening night will be organic local produce, specialty food items, Artisan makers, hot foods, sweet treats, live music, kids’ classes, and the on-site beer garden.
Each week will feature food vendors such as Speedy’s Potatoes, Joe’s To Go (Cajun menu), and Mini Pancakes & Crepes, to name a few.
Food trucks will also be on hand for more dining options.
