Youngsters can once again look forward to Wednesday’s Downtown Ripon Trick or Treat scheduled from 2 to 5 p.m.

They’re required to be accompanied by adults during this 10th year celebration of the event held during Halloween week.

Downtown Trick or Treat will consist of Main Street, from Acacia Avenue to the Event 22 building.

Included will be an online Costume Contest – participants can post photos wearing costumes on Facebook (Ripon CA Downtown Trick or Treat) for votes and to win prizes, according to organizers.

There will be a secret judge on hand this year to submit the favorite costume choices for prizes.

Candy donations are welcome and can be submitted to Tri Valley Lending & Integrity First Realty, 120 W. Main St., Ste B.

All trick or treaters, in addition, must obey all traffic laws and use the crosswalks.
