Ripon Consolidated Fire seeking to fill board seat

There’s one vacancy on the Ripon Consolidated Fire District’s board of director seat.

Letters of interest on the post are now being accepted, the local fire district announced Friday via social media.

The available seat is a two-year term, from Jan. 1, 2025 through Dec. 30, 2027.

Letters of interest can be addressed to Clerk of the Board Kathy Sikma, from now until 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13.

The letters can be mailed to Ripon Fire Station 1, 142 S. Stockton Ave., Ripon, or dropped off in person.

The RCFD provides fire protection and ambulance services to some 22,000 residents in a 56 square mile area, and is governed by five-member board.
