Pete Paulsen’s 34th annual Hot Rod Party on Sunday, Oct. 13, will feature all year American-made or powered vehicles, including this classic in front of the Manteca ‘Cruising’ mural.

Pete Paulsen’s 34th annual Hot Rod Party will place on Sunday, Oct. 13.

Proceeds from the event that celebrates the love of vehicles will once again benefit his Bikes for Kids, a non-profit organization that provides refurbished bicycles to youngsters in need while promoting physical activity.

“Every dollar raised will go directly towards purchasing and refurbishing bikes, ensuring that every child in our community has the opportunity to experience the joy riding,” Paulsen recently said in his letter to sponsors, donors, and volunteers.

The Hot Rod Party will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Paulsen Ranch, 1504 W. Bowman Road, French Camp, and promises to be a fun-filled day for families.

Included will be a variety of activities such as vendors, raffle prizes (both giant and 50/50), food & drinks, and Rock ‘N Roll music by host DJ Johnny ‘T.’

Special guest will be actress Candy Clark from George Lucas’ classic film American Graffiti.

She’ll be joined by John D’Agostino of Celebrity Kustoms along with Tim Wilson, who will once again operate the bar.

The car show will feature all years American-made or powered vehicles – early entry fee is $35 (through Oct. 12) and $45 on the day of the event (registration is from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.).

Among the vendors will be t-shirt artist Tom “The Giant” Nye, Tri-Tip by Fagundes Meats & Catering Inc., and World-Famous Hot Dogs.
