A Pink Party — an event celebrating those effected in the community by breast cancer — takes place Tuesday, Oct. 29, at the Manteca Senior Center, 295 Cherry Lane.

The gathering is also designed to raise breast cancer awareness. All proceeds will be donated to promote breast cancer research.

An open mic takes place between 4 and 5 p.m.

Community members will share their journeys, and remember those we’ve lost.

The main event is from 5 to 7 p.m.

There will be  music, dancing, snacks, activities, raffles, trivia, and vendor booths.

Those wearing a hint of pink in solidarity will be entered into a raffle

Tickets are $10 per adult (18+), $5 for seniors, and $5 for children.
